I actually like this song, it got that old schoolish feel, and the "explosion" at around 0:40 really gives a great mood to the song.
I think it is a little compact, a lot happends in a short time, and the melody/ies is/are kinda short.

I gotta say, it was a nice melody, but that bass is giving me thrills and is annoying me.
The song is pretty boring too, although I am not really into Ambient so I don't know much about progression in songs like these.

What's that ticking sound?
I don't like the claps/snare starting before the real beat either. The kick isn't strong enough imo. the hi-hat is placed "wrong", well not wrong, I just think you shouldn't make claps n hi hats like that inbetween.
